Judge Carol Williams Elswick in Office 156 of the Los Angeles Superior Court has been publicly admonished by the Commission on Judicial Performance for many acts of misconduct involving abuse of authority and is particularly serious.
One unbelievable abusive practice of this judge was remanding defendants to jail without proper hearings or defense representation. Moreover she bullied and impeded the defendants from their right to make bail.
All the above acts of misconduct and civil rights abuse of authority were verified at her fair hearing held before California's Commission on Judicial Performance. The Commission's decision to Publicly Admonish L.A. Judge Carol Elswick of Office 156 is the most harsh action they can take.
